1. Our midterms can begin as early as week two of the quarter. WEEK TWO.
2. The midterm period can last anywhere from week two until week ten. Meaning only days before finals.
3. We have ten weeks to learn everything they do in fifteen.
4. Once you fall behind… It’s hard to catch up. But seriously.
5. Your professors go through material so quickly, you have to get notes first and then learn the information later.
6. You get forced into learning time management, which I guess is a good thing. But being on the quarter system teaches you how to manage your time in the most unforgiving way (aka realizing you should have studied for something a week ago instead of binge watching shows on Netflix).
But on the bright side…
1. If we hate a class, it’s over quickly.
2. And we have more time to take fun classes (like wine making or tractor driving).
3. So it’s not all that bad. Once you get used to it.
