YouTubers to Watch if You Love Autumn and Halloween

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCD chapter.

Autumn is a great time to enjoy the changing of seasons and get excited about Halloween. Several YouTubers get into the fall spirit by suggesting seasonal activities and ideas for Halloween costumes.

LaurDIY

Lauren Riihimaki primarily posts do-it-yourself (DIY) ideas including costumes, snacks, and decorations. Some of her most popular videos from last year include DIY fall room decorations, Halloween treats, and several ideas for fall activities. Lauren especially loves Halloween, so much so that she created the hashtag #halLAURween on Twitter. She posts several DIY Halloween costumes every year. Whether you are looking for last minute ideas, Disney-themed costumes, or group costumes, Lauren has several videos with step-by-step DIY instructions.

Zoella

Zoe Sugg posts several different videos to transition to fall. Her most recent fall videos have included how to make apple crumble cupcakes, an autumn look book, and autumn and Halloween-inspired decorations. Last year, she filmed fall themed videos with a variety of topics, ranging from pumpkin carving and a recipe for pumpkin spice cupcakes to an autumn makeup look and a Bath and Body Works autumn-scented candle review.

CloeCouture

Cloe Breena’s autumn videos include a fall room tour and Halloween inspired makeup tutorials. Her most popular videos are her Halloween costume tutorials. She has uploaded over one hundred and fifty costume ideas for dressing up individually or with a friend, with clothes you may even already have in your closet.

Raphael Gomes

For those looking for food related Halloween videos, Raphael Gomes’s channel consists of mostly baking videos. He recently uploaded a video for mini pumpkin pies that only take one minute to bake. Last year, he uploaded several ideas for Halloween party treats, including cupcakes with blood stains and cake pops that look like eyeballs. His video for Halloween party ideas includes green punch that resembles slime, graveyard pudding, and how to make LED lanterns.

FashionByAlly

For people less interested in Halloween costumes and more interested in fall fashion, Ally Chen posted several autumn-themed videos this year focused on clothes and makeup. Her fall look book, fashion haul, and makeup routine videos offer various inspirations to stay warm as the weather changes, but still look stylish.
