It is that time of the year to start exfoliating and tanning. Lucky for us Florida girls, there are not many winter days left. Spring is around the corner and it is time to put away our Uggs and buy bronzer.

The best place to find the hottest new products is right in our backyard. Ulta, in Waterford, is your BFF for spring beauty. They just started carrying OPI’s new spring/summer nail polish collection – Texas. It brings spring bling to your nails.

“Texas provided the inspiration for this season, with bright colors and classic neutrals that draw from the American spirit,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, the executive Vice President and artistic director of OPI Products, Inc.

The polish colors range from tan, bright, and bold pinks. No matter the color, they are daring, vivid, and bold. Be sure to keep these colors on your nails, and not on your face. Those bold colors don’t spill into make-up this season.

Yaya Prescott, an Ulta make-up guru, shares the flirtiest trends of the season. This news may shock you: neutrals are in.

What happened to smoky eyes? We spent months perfecting the trick so we didn’t look like monsters! But don’t worry girls; that practice was not a complete waste of time. Prescott still recommends a smoky eye for a night out.

When you think spring, peaches and pinks come to mind. Those colors are still popular this season, but browns are back in style again too.

“All of the new palettes coming in are more in the brown family,” she said.

This spring make-up routine couldn’t be easier; all you need is ten minutes and the right supplies.

Prescott says you’ll only need foundation, mascara, blush and lip gloss.

She says to apply foundation as normal, add a vibrant pink blush to your cheek bones, a few coats of black mascara to the top and bottom lashes, and finish with a neutral gloss across your lips. This super-simple routine will get you out the door faster than ever.
