Are you a student at UCF and don’t know what to get for dinner? It can be hard to figure out what you want to eat when you’re hungry, especially with all of the options! I know when I first came to the University I didn’t know all of the places I could eat at.
With the University of Central Florida being one of the biggest universities in the country, you know there are some good places to eat! As a junior here at UCF, I feel qualified to say the best fast food restaurants to eat at.
Fast food is the perfect choice for when you want something quick and easy, and you don’t want to cook. There are many different options to choose from near campus, with many actually on campus. Don’t worry, I’ve compiled a list of my favorite places to get fast food near campus.
Here are six fast-food restaurants on and near campus that’ll have you saying “I’m loving it.”

Celina Timmerman / Her Campus Let’s begin with a restaurant everyone knows and loves: Mcdonald’s! You can never go wrong with Mcdonald’s, it’s a classic fast food choice! They have a variety of different burgers, chicken nuggets, and combo meals to choose from. The best part? It’s right across from campus, so you don’t have to go far. And, if you have the app, you can rack up points to get free points. Can you say college students on a budget anyone?

Can’t decide between tacos or burgers? Get both! At Del Taco you have the option of choosing a burger and fries, tacos, and even milkshakes. Savannah Perez, 20, a junior at the university says her favorite meal is a stuffed guac quesadilla taco meal with a strawberry Sprite. So delicious! And, with Del Taco being right across from campus, you can’t go wrong.

Need a coffee fix? Lucky for you, there are three Starbucks’ on campus, and another right on University Blvd. If you’re studying in the Student Union, you’re in luck. Starbucks is on the second floor. Hammocking on memory mall? Starbucks is not far away. If you’re browsing the Barnes & Noble bookstore by the Addition Arena, you can get coffee there as well. Personally, my favorite drink to get while studying is a Strawberry Açaí with lemonade because you can never go wrong with a refresher.

Don’t know what to eat? Get some Chick-Fil-A! With two locations on campus to choose from, it’s definitely a fast and simple meal. You can’t go wrong with an eight-count nugget meal or a chicken sandwich. There’s one in the Breezeway and one by the Recreation Wellness Center. You don’t even have to leave the comforts of campus to get your food!

Charlotte Reader / Her Campus Maybe you’ve been studying and need something to eat. Or, maybe you’ve been craving pizza. Either way, you can never go wrong with a slice of pizza, and there are two Dominos on campus to choose from! You can find Dominos in the Breezeway, or by the Arena, so no matter where you are on campus, pizza is accessible. Pro tip: if you’re in the Breezeway and want Dominos, they have a combination deal where you can get a personal pizza, bread twists, and a soda for only $10!

We’ve all been there, studying all night and craving some tacos. Lucky for you, Taco Bell is right across from campus! Plus, they’re open late, perfect for a midnight snack or study craving. There’s nothing better than a burrito and a Baja Blast! Fun fact: if you’re over 21, you can get alcohol because the Taco Bell is a cantina as well. Just remember to drink responsibly!
