I love reading romance books, and with new book recommendations popping up every day, my to-be-read list has become endless! The only downside lately is that I’m always busy with my coursework piling up and never have time to read. Instead, I decided to save my most anticipated books on my TBR for when I know I’ll have a long enough break to enjoy what I’m reading fully. Luckily, I won’t have to wait much longer with summer break around the corner! So here are my top three romance books that I can’t wait to read:
- Things we never got over by lucy score
-
I’ve seen this book recommended many times this past month. This story follows two characters: Naomi, who is a very sunshine-type girl who goes through many struggles, and Knox, who is the grumpy type of man who helps her out. Some tropes featured in the book are a small town, enemies to lovers and dual POV (point of view). Honestly, that’s all I needed to know to immediately convince me to read this book. Based on all the good reviews I’ve read so far, there’s no doubt that this book might become one of my favorites!

- Kiss the Sky by Krista and Becca Ritchie
-
Kiss the Sky is a part of the interconnected Addicted/Calloway Sisters series which follows the three Calloway sisters Lily, Rose and Daisy. I’ve been reading the first part of the series that features Lily and her childhood best friend-to-lover, Loren Hale, and I’ve been absolutely loving their story. Since the series is interconnected, Kiss the Sky is coming up soon on the lineup and it features the oldest sister Rose and her academic rival-to-lover, Connor Cobalt. Connor Cobalt is definitely a fan favorite male character in the series so I can’t wait to read about his story with Rose.
- Twisted Lies by ana Huang
-
The book Twisted Lies will be the fourth book in Ana Huang’s Twisted Series. This book will be released on June 30, so at least I haven’t missed out on the hype yet! Twisted Lies will follow the characters Christian Harper and Stella Alonso (who have been already been mentioned and introduced into the series). The author Ana Huang has been teasing that this book will feature a fake dating/fake marriage trope which is one of my favorites! There isn’t a blurb out yet so I have no idea what to expect, but based on their cameos when first meeting in the previous book Twisted Hate, I’m very eager to read how their story plays out.

There are still many more books on my TBR list that I can hardly wait to read, but these are definitely the first ones I’ll reach for when summer break starts. Hopefully, you’ll also add one of these books to your own TBR. Happy reading!
