This is the home stretch, it’s the week before Spring Break. Unfortuantely that means this is one of the most chaotic weeks of them all with midterms and group projects coming up. It all happened so fast, winter break feels like yesterday because it’s still pretty chilly outside. Fear not, you can get through this. Even though KJ is not in college she feels our struggle.Â
I feel like I haven’t learned anything, yet I’m expected to know half of the course’s material by tomorrow.Â
Your professors send out one last email about how you should prepare for your exams.
Once Monday hits you go for the large coffee, because you know you’re going to need it.
Once Tuesday rolls around you’re already tired. There’s no sign of hope because you have a ton of assignments to finish before the week is over.
You’re numb to the pain by Wednesday and have accepted the fact that you’ll be spending all week in the library, which means messy hair and leggings until Saturday.
It’s okay because you have your classmates by your side struggling with you.
Now it’s Thursday and you’re noticing on social media that some of your friends are already done for the week.
For some reason social media is so interesting this week.
“Do you want to go out tonight?” I’m sorry what? I have a midterm at 9 a.m. tomorrow. You can’t wait to party for two days?
Now your roommates are starting their Spring Break too. You’re so happy for them.
You’ve made it to Friday! You took your exam and turned in you group project, so now you’re peacing out. Your hard work this week payed off and you deserve to celebrate, whether it be on vacation or sitting at home. Whatever the case, you don’t have to be in class. Go you, you’re perfect.
