I don’t know about everyone else, but it’s only week 2 in the quarter system and I’m already overwhelmed. There is so much stress that comes along with re-adjusting to the fast pace of college! Here are just a few of the experiences we all go through during these harrowing times:
1. That moment you accept that break is over Â
“What do you mean school starts tomorrow, I just got my sleeping schedule back on track!”
2. Realizing your body no longer has the capacity to wake up on time
“I somehow managed to oversleep for my only 11AMÂ class for the day…”
3. Having 8AM classes … EVERY SINGLE DAY
“Not even Gene Block can save me from this nightmare.”
4. Returning with high hopes and goals for this quarter
5. But by the end of week 1, you’re already behindÂ
“Guess I’ll just start over next quarter!”
6. Praying to get off the waitlist at any cost!
“If I have to trick someone to drop the course, I’ll do what needs to be done.”
7. Forgetting that paying for books is a thing
“IT. NEVER. ENDS.”
7. Paying for books when you’re a STEM major
“Is it too late to switch to something with fewer textbooks?”
8. Being ecstatic that you’re reunited with your roommates
“Reunited and it feels so good!”
9. But then remembering your roommates’ annoying habits
“I forgot how soothing your snores are.”
10. That feeling of elation because you’re one quarter closer to graduating
“I can almost taste that diploma!”
