Meet Charlotte Will, a third-year student at UCLA.
Where are you from?
Solvang, CA (the Danish town between here and Nor Cal)
What’s your major?
Business Economics major, English minor
What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
I am really passionate about the health of the environment, so I am the co-coordinator for the Electronic-waste Campaign at UCLA, which spreads awareness about the importance of proper recycling of e-waste in addition to collecting e-waste around campus. I also get to do philanthropy work as part of Bruin Belles Service Association.
What do you love most about UCLA/ what has been your favorite UCLA memory so far?
This is the hardest question. UCLA is such an incredible place and there are so many reasons why I love it here. I love how you can run into someone you know no matter where you are on campus and no matter what time. I love being swept up in the sports culture and high-fiving everyone around you when we score a touchdown. My favorite memory is definitely the USC game 2012 when it poured, but everyone stayed to see us win!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love cooking, reading, hiking, shopping, and having movie nights with friends.
What are three things you cannot live without?
I couldn’t live without my family, my friends, and good food.
What is your favorite movie?
Hocus Pocus has been my favorite movie since I was really young, but a new favorite movie of mine is The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Ryan Reynolds!
If you go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I fell in love with Vancouver, Canada when I visited there a few summers ago. The beautiful blue buildings create an amazing skyline and Stanley Park is the best place for riding bikes and having picnics.
