Spring Quarter is quickly approaching, which means UCLA has become the land of sunglasses and hammocks scattered across campus. Although we could not be more excited for summer, the hot weather can sometimes take a toll on our usually-cool moods. What we eat can effect how we feel, so here are some Bruin favorite foods for keeping cool on extra hot days:
1. Feast’s Green Tea Ice Cream

A classic favorite, this green tea ice cream is a staple at Feast. Did you know UCLA is one of the only universities in the nation to offer a dining hall specializing in pan-asian cuisine?
2. Lollicup Boba in Ackerman Union

Opened in 2016, Lollicup Boba shop boasts a large selection of bubble tea favorites, and even has special discounts depending on the day of the week!
3. Frozen Yogurt from Southern Lights (aka Bombshelter)

Although not well-known, South Campus houses its own café (aptly named Southern Lights) and offers a variety of coffees, drinks, and fro-yo. Keep an eye out, because they change their frozen yogurt flavors every day!
4. Smoothies from Bruin Café

The Bruin Café, oftentimes lovingly referred to as BCaf, is home to not only over 13 different smoothies, but also Coffee Bean Ice Blended® drinks as well. Nothing cools us down like a nice, cold drink.
