Can we just take a moment to appreciate how awesome our school is? As you may have heard, UCLA has recently been ranked the No. 2 best public university in the WORLD, and No. 8 overall by the U.S. News and World Report “Best Global Universities” ranking. Out of five hundred universities assessed from around the world, our school came out on top. The ranking cited our academic research and reputation as large contributors to our success.
In addition to this honor, UCLA has consistently performed extremely well among other rankings. The U.S. News and World report ranked us No. 2 public and No. 23 nationally earlier this year. Washington Monthly ranked us the No. 1 “Affordable Elite” university and the No. 5 university that contributes to serving the public. Times Higher Education World University Rankings put us at No. 12 globally.
So what is it that makes our school stand out among the rest? Is it our top-notch academics or our groundbreaking research? Or maybe it’s the endless opportunities that we have for our students both in and outside the classroom. One thing is for sure; UCLA provides a college experience for us that is unprecedented and cannot be matched anywhere else. We are extremely lucky to be a part of this university, so live out your time here to the fullest!
