Fall quarter is a time full of career fairs and interviews, and if you’re like me, you have a closet lacking in business clothes! It’s often really difficult to find the right looks to wear for the business professional dress code, so I’m here to provide you with inspiration from my favorite power-dresser, Scandal’s Olivia Pope! Olivia’s timeless, sophisticated style proves that business-wear doesn’t have to be boring. Every piece she wears is tailored to perfection, simple but with a twist. She appears on screen wearing mostly neutral hues, but always touts her metaphorical “white hat” by adding pops of white in shoes, accessories, or statement pieces. Things that show up again and again in her wardrobe include sleek coats and blazers, wide-leg trousers, pointy-toe pumps and structured bags.
Here’s some outfits that would definitely be Olivia-approved!

2. LBD, with a twist:
A fitted sheath dress will always look sleek and ruffled sleeves add flare! Contrast the LBD with some white accessories!

Statement pants are a great way to add excitement to any outfit, paired with the perfect fitted top!
