Name: Ariel Gory
Year: 2nd Year
Hometown: Bay Area!
Relationship Status: Single even though I am in a relationship with Jesus Christ
Campus Involvement: I am an RA in Anacapa and a member of Alpha Delta Chi the Christ Centered Sorority. I also go to RealLife and different lectures or video showings on social injustices and issues.
Activities: Painting, going to the beach, reading Seventeen magazine, yoga …, lately I’ve been doing a lot of reading and research about Ghana since I’m studying abroad there next year.
Goals After College: After grad school, I hope to work in an art museum where I could possibly be a curator. I would love to travel around and pick up art pieces to bring back to museums. I would also like to be involved in archaeological digs. One day I would hope to own my own art gallery too.
Four things you can’t live without? Jesus, the beach, chocolate, and painting
Favorite moment in college so far? I have a couple! First, my 20th birthday was amazing this year! I went kayaking with my sorority sisters, saw a couple dolphins, ate out, had an awesome tiramisu and watched movies and baked. Second, joining my sorority has probably been one of the best decisions I have ever made! My sisters and I have so many memorable and amazing moments
What’s the first thing you notice about a guy?
This might be odd but I notice the “beat” of their walk, their nails and the shape of their teeth. These are determining factors!
Most embarrassing moment? So I was in seventh grade and I was at a little festival where there were booths for different organizations. I went up to a organ donation organization booth where there was a little old lady sitting and showing a picture of a guy. She explained that he gave her his heart. Then I asked, “Oh are you guys like best friends now?” She had this really disturbed face and a guy next to me said, “Think about it, he gave her his HEART.” I was so embarrassed so I grabbed a flyer and ran.
Describe yourself in three words: Christian, feminist and artsy.
Favorite food or restaurant? My favorite foods are the three “Ch”s, Cheese, Chicken and Chocolate. All separately of course. My favorite restaurant would have to be Olive Garden. Amazing.
