For a reality TV star, Kim Kardashian sure has experienced quite a bit of success in the tech industry. First, she launches a highly successful video game. Then she releases an all-encompassing (or should I say, all-enKompassing) app about her life. Now, as if breaking the internet wasnât a big enough accomplishment, Mrs. West has broken the App Store with her new Kimojis.

Why pay $1.99 when you have a set of emojis for free, you ask? For those die hard Kardashian fans out there, Kimoji includes some iconic Kim K trademarks, like a heavily contoured made-up face, her famous derriere, and, of course, that crying face. Not too big a fan of Kimâs? The reality star has also included other emojis that would appeal to broader audiences, like an arm taking a selfie, a red Solo cup, and text boxes with slang words like âbasicâ and âlit.â And, of course, Kanye has made his mark in this project with emojis of his Yeezy sneakers and the matching leather âJust Marriedâ jackets he and Kim famously sported post-nuptials. There is also a huge crop of NSFW emojis that are definitely NSFHC (Not Safe For Her Campus), so letâs just say they would be very helpful in the sexting department.
Are the Kimojis worth it? As someone whoâs not very absorbed in the Kardashian hype, there are quite a few emojis that I wouldnât mind having in my emoji arsenal. Despite having many commercial business ventures in consumer-friendly markets, Kim does sell and endorse products that can add up to a pretty penny (especially if youâre Kardashian Krazy), so $1.99 doesnât seem like much to pay at all for a product of Kimâs. But thatâs just my opinion. If you ask Kim, sheâd probably start by asking you:
