Winter is finally here and I’m sure you all know what that means: dry skin is coming. Here are some moisturizers that will have your skin feeling hydrated and glowy even on the coldest of days.
Dry:
What you’re looking for: Winters are the hardest for you all because of your skin’s extreme need for moisture. During this time, you might even want to reduce the number of times you wash your face; instead of washing it with cleanser twice a day, do it only at night, while only rinsing your face in the mornings with cool water. If your skin is still feeling dry after using a moisturizer, then you might want to consider adding an oil to your skincare routine. When looking for products, you wanna keep your eyes out for keywords like rich, creamy, and hydrating.

Oily:
What you’re looking for: There’s a myth out there that people with oily skin don’t need moisturizers, which is dead wrong! If you’re one of my oily-skinned sisters that has to deal with the more-than-occasional breakout, then you’re probably using acne treatments that will dry out your skin; this then makes your skin freak out and actually produce more oil. Unlike the dry-skinned ladies, you don’t want the heavy creams; instead you want to look for moisturizers that advertise words like oil-free, non-comedogenic, won’t clog pores, and gel.
