Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women. To fight this disease, it is important to spread awareness and contribute to research and treatment centers as well as charity groups. To make a real impact, we can empower and support young patients by connecting them to communities or devoting to donations. In this article, we listed out some of San Diego’s non-profit breast cancer foundations and resources for anyone who is undergoing treatment or knows any loved ones who need emotional and financial care.
Shades of Pink Foundation California (SOPFCA)
Shades of Pink Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides service for women in San Diego and other Southern California locations. As diagnosed women may struggle with financial burdens during treatment and recovery, SOPFCA grants these patients with basic living expenses, such as transportation, food, housing, and other essentials. Anyone who is seeking a grant or care from SOPFCA should contact their health care professional to assist in the application process.
