What’s New in UTC

Ever heard of the word, “basic”?

But just because you are a UCSD student with a limited budget, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some nice days out near campus.

Yes, PB is nice and La Jolla cove is nice too, but there is nothing better than eating out and shopping to relieve your stress.

1. Bibigo

   1. This vegan-friendly place just opened, and it serves Korean bibimbap in a subway style.

   2. You have several options to choose from, and can choose what kind of plate you want your food in, such as a hot stone bowl or just a regular non-heated bowl.

   3. There are different rice and noodle options to choose from, like kimchi rice, white rice, and brown rice.

   4. There is a mixture of vegetables including broccoli, zucchini, kale, beats, carrots, asian slaws, and kimchi.

   5. Then you can choose a sauce.

   6. Then you can choose the meat.

   7. They ask if you want egg, and the answer is up to you.

   8. Then garnishes, like sesame seeds and seaweed, is the final step!

   9. It’s like poke bowls but Korean.

   1. New burger place in UTC, similar vibe between Island burger restaurant and STACKED.

   2. All their burgers were pretty nice, but ask them for their happy hour menu.
