It’s the most wonderful time of year… or is it? Here are 17 confessions our friends at Whisper found surrounding holiday stress:
1. The only thing standing between you and winter break is finals.Â
2. But at least there are some great parties to keep your mind off studying.
3. Hopefully you’ll go as hard on those tests as you did at that party last night…
4. Try not to worry so much what you’re parents will think— they’ll love you anyway.
5. Seeing family is a gift in itself, cherish your time with loved ones.
6. When you get home, things might be different than what you remembered.
7. Sometimes the holidays bring more sadness than joy…
8. And alcohol can make things better (or worse) for a little while
9. OK, a lot worse.
10. Maybe this break you can find a way to be more honest with your parents.
11. And perhaps you should be a little less selfish this year.
12. It’s no secret we all love to eat; just try to enjoy home cooking while you have it. You can work out later.
13. Those healthy eating habits can wait until the new year.
14. Unless of course, there’s someone you’re trying to impress who hasn’t seen you in awhile.
15. Getting in a little exercise won’t hurt though.
16. Just take a deep breath and relax over a good meal.
17. See, you’re not alone.
