I see you rocking it, girl! From crushing your classwork to strutting to Midtown Social with your friends, you are killing the college game. I know waking up every day with a ton of goals to conquer the world can be overwhelming at times, so I’ve taken the hard work out of planning your busy morning and did it for you. Here is my five-step recipe to a productive day for a powerful, fierce, on-the-go college woman:
1. Open your eyes, and put them on the prize
Rise and shine, fellow girl bosses! Have you ever heard the saying, “Girls with dreams become women with vision”?This could not be more true. Thus, I suggest starting off your day by looking at the bigger picture. Flip through your vision board on Pinterest, listen to a motivational speech, or review your list of life goals on your bulletin board. Every single task you are working for now will pay off for your long-term goals later. Remember that.

2. Fuel up to stay fierce
Now that you’ve reminded yourself of your dreams, keep the motivation going by brewing a cup of coffee and eating a healthy breakfast. You can’t chase your dreams if you don’t have enough energy to run towards them!
My favorite quick breakfast to stay energized for a busy day is steel cut oatmeal with fresh fruit!
3. Sweat out some stress, and shower to be fresh
Try to sleep in pajamas that can also work as exercise wear, so right when you shuffle out of bed, you can hit your yoga mat for some stretching and exercise moves. Continue the good vibes by playing some music that makes you happy in the background, or keep yourself informed by watching the news while you #werk. Try this at-home workout below!
4. Get glam, and go get-em
You know that they say: “Dress for the life you want, not for the life you have!” Well, it goes something like that.
Taking a few extra minutes in the morning to care of yourself is essential for feeling your absolute best before you tackle the day ahead. The snooze button on your alarm may be tempting but having the time to throw on pink lip gloss, sunnies and a leather jacket might make you feel more confident to present your project than your sweatpants and leftover residue from last night’s face mask. Been there, worn that!
5. Prepare yourself for productivity!
Now that you’ve done some goal setting and practiced self-care, run through your checklist, and make sure your bag is packed with everything you need for the day ahead.
I hope these suggestions help you have the best day ever! Keep on working hard and treating yourself right. Take it one day at a time. You’ve got this.
