You learn many things when you come to college. You learn how to navigate a new campus, how to survive an all-nighter at the library and, most importantly, how to dress for a day of classes. Many of us have tried to figure out the most comfortable way to dress for class. If you want to master comfort while staying stylish, ditch the leggings and oversized T-shirts. Put your focus on a cute pair of sneakers instead. You’re bound to appreciate your killer kicks for the edgy vibe they bring to your outfit, but you’ll be even more grateful for them when you’re walking miles around campus. Greter Gonzalez managed to look cute in a crop top and high-waisted jeans while staying comfortable in a pair of crisp, white sneakers. Keep reading to learn more about how sneakers fit in with her personal style!
Name: Greter Gonzalez
Age: 20
Year: Sophomore
Major: Public relations
Her Campus: What are you wearing and where is it from?
Greter Gonzalez: “I have on white Nike Air Max’s. I also have on high-waisted jeans from Fashion Nova and a white crop top from Fashion Nova as well. I have on my sorority’s necklace and tiki. My best friend gave me the other necklace as a gift. I believe my headband is from Icing from the mall.”
HC: How would you describe your personal style?
GG: “I would say that it’s very cute, but it’s mixed with a little street style. It’s very girly for the most part though.”
HC: What’s your favorite item in your closet right now?
GG: “I think these high-waisted jeans are my favorite. They just fit so well. They’re my favorite purchase that I’ve made in a while. I think they compliment everything that I wear. With this outfit, they pull the whole look together.”
HC: What’s your favorite part about fashion?
GG: “I think that being able to experiment and finding pieces that fit your body properly is my favorite thing. I have a very small shape, so it’s hard to find things that fit just right. When you find an outfit that fits you perfectly, you look good and feel good. It can start off your day just right.”
