With Thanksgiving break is behind us, many collegiettes are sprinting toward the finish line of this semester. Between living in the library, attending classes and counting down the minutes until we get to sleep in our own beds at home, fashion has taken a back seat in many of our lives. Yoga pants, T-shirts and topknots are great, but switching leggings for a skirt or brushing your hair can pull a whole look together while still being comfortable for our crazy schedules. Brittany Rogers had this philosophy down pat when I spotted her on Turlington Plaza. A dark green skater skirt with a white shirt and moccasins was a simple yet stylish way to go to class. Keep reading to learn what she keeps in her closet!
Name: Brittany Rogers
Age: 19
Year: sophomore
Major: computer engineering
Her Campus: What are you wearing and where is it from?
Brittany Rogers: “Plato’s Closet is where my shirt is from. My skirt is from Forever 21, and my moccasins are probably from Payless, but I’m not too sure.”
HC: How would you describe your personal style?
BR: “Honestly, I don’t think that I’m a big fashion person. I really just wear what I like. I mainly go for the casual look most of the time. Keeping it simple is what I really go for.”
HC: What would we find in your closet right now?
BR: “There would be a lot of T-shirts, skirts, some jeans and leggings. You know, the usual stuff! I don’t see it as anything special honestly. I wear what I feel comfortable in.”
HC: What are you planning to wear for the holidays?
BR: “I’ll probably just wear comfortable dresses or something. Because I’m still going to be in Florida I’ll probably be wearing sandals, and it is definitely going to still be warm. I don’t want to be in something too constricting.”
