Two of my favorite brands have come together to create adorable shoes, and I’m here for it. In case you’ve missed it, Keds has teamed up with the gorgeous design company Rifle Paper Co. to give everyone more of what they didn’t know they needed: floral-printed tennis shoes.Rifle Paper Co. has been one of my favorite design companies for a long time. They are based in Winter Park (just outside of Orlando) — so they get even more bonus points for being a Florida native company. And Keds, well — let’s just say I’ve loved them even before Taylor Swift’s Red era, where she wore them with almost every outfit.
My middle school heart is bursting for these adorable Keds because I probably owned ten pairs of these timeless sneakers back in the seventh grade. (Shout out to private school.) Don’t worry — if classic tennis shoes aren’t your style, this collaboration offers high tops, slip-ons and even some flatforms.
If there is one pair you should own from this collaboration, it’s the Triple Kick Paper Palms. They are the perfect shoes for the upcoming transition from spring into summer that happens more quickly than we’d like here in Florida. The shoes feature an adorable palm frond print from Rifle Paper Co., and it’s giving me all the tropical vibes.
If you want a more traditional shoe, then go for the Champion Lively Floral. This is the classic Keds sneaker, and it’s a staple of the collection. It features two adorable color variations that you can pair with some jean shorts for a relaxed look, or a fun fit-and-flare dress for a flirty daytime look.
This collaboration is highly sought out, and I expect the shoes to sell out soon. The collection ranges between $60 to $80, so it might be a little pricey for those who don’t see the value in a pair of tennis shoes — but these fun kicks are definitely worth your money. Much like your favorite pair of jeans, there’s something about Keds that never goes out of style.
I plan on purchasing a pair (or two) from this collection and I can guarantee I won’t be feeling any buyer’s remorse. You can slip these on when you head to class or dress them up with a cute jean skirt. The possibilities are endless!
