Now that fall has finally arrived, Halloween is right around the corner! Halloween is the perfect time to dress up, let some steam off from school and spend time with your friends. Now that we’re past the age of trick-or-treating, many students have get-togethers to celebrate this spooky day.  Halloween would not be complete without treats, so we have included some fun Halloween-inspired snacks to make for your gathering.
Mummy Hotdogs
Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) can of crescent dinner rolls
- 1 (14-ounce) package cocktail-size smoked sausage links
- 1 jar of mustard
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Unroll dough and separate into eight pieces.Â
- Cut each piece into three triangles and place sausage into dough.
- Wrap dough around the sausage leaving wholes to look like a mummy.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.Â
- Add two drops of mustard to represent eyes.
Bat Bites
Ingredients
- 1 (4-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 8 ounces mild goat cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup pesto
- 2 tablespoons coarsely ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 8 pitted olives, sliced
- 32 peppercorns
- 32 triangular blue corn chips
Directions
- Combine cream cheese, goat cheese and pesto. Refrigerate for 40 minutes.
- Mold mixture into 16 2-inch balls.
- Roll balls in black pepper and poppy seeds.
- Add two olive slices for eyes and peppercorns for pupils.
- Place chips on each side for wings.

Halloween Brownie Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 (16-ounce) package brownie mix
- Yellow and red food coloring (15 drops yellow and 3 drops red)
- 2 cups thawed whipped topping
- 12 fun-size candy bars, chopped
- 2 tablespoons Halloween sprinkles

Directions
- Follow instructions on brownie box. Bake on a 12-inch pizza pan for 15 minutes.
- Blend in food coloring with whipped topping. Once mixed, spread over brownie.
- Add sprinkles and chopped candy bars over pizza

Candy Corn Popcorn Balls
Ingredients
- 8 cups popped microwave popcorn
- 1 cup candy corn
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (10-ounce) bag marshmallows
- Cooking spray

Directions
- Pour popcorn and candy corn in a large bowl.
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Add 1/4 teaspoon salt and marshmallows to pan.
- Reduce heat to low and cook for 7 minutes (or until the marshmallows melt.)
- Pour marshmallow mixture over popcorn.
- Spray hands lightly with cooking spray and mold popcorn mixture into 20 balls.
Daddy Long Legs Cupcake
Ingredients
- 1 (16-ounce) box chocolate cake mix
- 1 (13-ounce) can of chocolate icing
- 1 can of chocolate sprinkles
- 1 (14-ounce) bag of Bassett’s Liquorice Allsorts
- 1 package of black string licorice
- Clean scissors
- Ruler

Directions
- Follow instructions on cake box for cupcakes.
- Frost cupcakes with chocolate icing and cover with chocolate sprinkles.
- Add eye pieces to cupcake.
- Cut 8 (4-inch) pieces of licorice and push into the edges of cupcake.

Tombstone Pudding Dessert

Ingredients
- 1 (3.9 ounce) box of chocolate instant pudding
- 1 bag of Milano cookies
- 1 box of Oreos
- 1 black gel tube
- 4 clear cups

Directions
- Follow instructions on box for pudding.Â
- Spoon pudding into 4 large clear cups.
- Crush up Oreos and add on top of pudding.
- Place 1 Milano cookie into each cup. Write “RIP” on each Milano cookie.

Witch Hat Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 box of Keebler Fudge Stripe Cookies
- 1 bag of Hershey’s Kisses
- 1 tube of orange icing

Directions
- Flip cookie upside-down.
- Add icing in the middle of the cookie.
- Place Hershey’s Kiss on top.

Halloween Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Ingredients
- 1 carton of strawberries
- 1 (12-ounce) bag of dark chocolate chips
- 1 (12-ounce) bag of white chocolate chips
- 1 black gel tube
- Food coloring of your choice

Directions
- Melt chocolate chips on the stove and dip in strawberries. (If wanting color, add in food color to your liking to melted white chocolate chips.)
- Place on tray and refrigerate until chocolate is hard.
- Add designs to strawberries with black gel tube.
