5 Songs That Will Put You in the Christmas Spirit

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UGA chapter.

No matter how much we all may love the holiday season, one thing we may all be able to agree on is that, even though the holiday is right around the corner, it just doesn’t feel quite like Christmas yet. We can blame it on the fact that it was a strong 50 degrees when we left Athens for winter break this year or we can chalk it up to this less-than-fabulous performance that Mariah Carey gave at Radio City Music Hall this year. Either way, the best part about getting into the Christmas spirit is all in the music, which is why we put together a list of a few songs that are bound to put you in the Christmas spirit.

1. All I Want for Christmas is You– Mariah Carey

There’s no such thing as Christmas without Mariah’s vocals (the old vocals anyway.)

2. I Wanna Be Your Christmas– Andrew Allen

Don’t be surprised getting swept away by this original smooth Christmas tune.

3. Santa Tell Me– Ariana Grande

You’ll have one less problem once you listen to this song.

4. I’ll Be Home– Meghan Trainor

We guess Meghan Trainor is all about Christmas too.

5. Mary, Did You Know?– Pentatonix

Our favorite a capella group that consistently puts our “sing-along-to-the-radio” voices to shame.
