The Days of the Week as Animals

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UGA chapter.

Have you ever wondered what the days of the week would be called if they were named after animals? Whether you have or not, here are seven animals that describe each day perfectly.

Sunday: Beaver

Because dam, we all definitely put everything off until this day, so we are left trying not to fall behind on the things we should’ve done sooner.

Monday: Bulldog

To be honest, we all look like this to signify how done we already are with the week.

Tuesday: Turtle

Is it Thursday yet? We are all trying to make it, but honestly the week just seems to be moving slowly.

Wednesday: Camel

YOU DEFINITELY SAW THIS COMING… we are halfway there, we just have to make it down the hump now.

Thursday: Rabbit

Time to wrap things up and hop into the weekend like…

Friday: Monkey

Just monkeying around now that it’s the weekend.

Saturday: Dolphin

Dolphins are always so happy and playful, but they also know how to party or have fun in general, which is how many people enjoy spending the day, especially if it was a long week. (Fun fact: Dolphins purposefully experience a high off of puffer fish poison. They literally pass the puffer fish!!)

Have a great week everyone!
