Halloween is definitely the most stressful time of the year. Two weeks after college midterms, a few days after the Georgia-Florida game, and a week before the people decide who will be the next president of the United States. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place! The last thing anyone wants to do is spend their precious time trying to think up a costume for an upcoming party. Here are a few ideas that can be used to inspire those who are still unsure about what they should wear this Halloween, but do not have the time to shop for a costume.

1. CARTOON character costumes are always a classic. It’s hard to mess up in this department as it’s fun and simple accessories could be added to any everyday wear.

Leela from Futurama:

Tina from Bob’s Burgers:

Attire: Light blue shirt, blue shirt, long striped socks, simple sneakers,

Accessories: Square framed black glasses, yellow hair clips

Hair/Make-up: Short black bobbed wig; no make up needed.

Other options: Daria, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Kim Possible

2. NETFLIX is the new black as far as television shows go. Rock some attire from your favorite Netflix original. The best thing is that some of these make excellent group costumes!

Orange is the New Black:

Attire: Orange or tan scrubs, grey sweatshirt, black boots or simple sneaker

Accessories: Sharpie tattoos, plastic utencils

Hair/ Make-Up: Varies amongst characters

Netflix Baby:

3. POP CULTURE can be anything that has ever been a trending #hashtag on Twitter. These costumes allow for tons of creativity and 100% free interpretation. But with great freedom comes great responsibility. A fanatstic idea for a costume can be completely ruined if it mocks or insults a group of people.

Beyonce’s Lemonade:

Empire’s Cookie Lyon:
