Sleep is the most important part of staying healthy and ensures that our brain functions properly. Without a proper amount of sleep, we simply are not ourselves. However, there comes a time where we all have to make sacrifices to get through school. Midterms is one of the most stressful times throughout the semester. As a last resort, we decide that our only option is to pull an all-nighter. This is where we cram together all the work we have due the next day and hustle through it. So, what does one do after an all-nighter? How do we get past our sleep-deprived minds and tiredness? Here is a list of five things that could get us through an all-nighter.

1. Caffeinated Coffee. For obvious reasons, coffee is the go-to drink to help us wake up.

2. Washing your face with cold water. This is a routine I do whenever I feel like I am about to fall asleep. A quick wash of the face with cold water definitely does the trick.

3. Listen to music. Music always helps wake us up. Listen to something that will get you going.

4. Watch a funny video or movie. This seems to help me out. Laughing gets my mood up, and it makes us feel better.

5. Cardio. Go out for a jog. Get those muscles moving, and take in a deep breath of fresh air.

Do whatever it takes to remain awake, keep your eyes open!
