This annual free event in Chicago allows residents to have a look inside at many sites. This event lasts for two days on the weekend. This year, it occurs on October 14th and 15th from 9 to 5.
Residents can explore many neighborhoods which include Pilsen, the Loop, Lincoln Park, and private places often closed to the public. Some of these sites consist of hotels, restaurants, theaters, and churches.
There are volunteers at every site with maps, and they can assist visitors with any needs.
Photography is allowed at most of these places and some even have special tours. New places are always added every year to the list of places to explore.
