The wonderfully beautiful and enticing city of Chicago serves as home to our own UIC Campus. And while there is always something to do, no matter what you’re into, we sometimes forget that cities are not always the safest places to travel by yourself. We walk to class, take busses downtown, and even take the “L” to work. Ladies know that carrying some protective pepper spray is always safe, and now there is something you can add to your arsenal!
The UIC Ju-Jutsu Club is offering to teach YOU how to defend yourself in any situation, so you can a little bit safer walking the streets of Chicago. No prior experience is necessary. All you have to bring is your willingness to learn, since anyone can perfect their techniques.
Meetings take place on Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m. and Sundays from 2-4 p.m. in Fitness Room 2 at the Sports and Fitness Center on West Campus.
Get in shape while learning to defend yourself!
