As spring semester is coming to an end, finals week is looming over all our heads. Finally, the weather is starting to brighten our days and make us wish that we could just spend that couple of extra hours frolicking in the sun. The national MS society is offering all of us the chance to exercise, spend time with friends, and support a great cause, all at once!
Â
Each year, the Greater Illinois Chapter organizes this 1 or 3 mile walk in 13 different locations, all spread throughout Illinois. Specifically, those of us in Chicago will benefit from a gorgeous walk along the Chicago lakefront. The date is MAY 1ST and the walk begins at 9am.

Create your own personalized profile and help raise money to put an end to this crippling disease. The more fundraising you do, the more prizes and fun goodies you can receive! Hurry and sign up to be either a single walker, or create a team of your own through colleagues from work. You can even volunteer! Fundraising week begins April 18th– 22nd.
Â
There is no registration fee and no minimum fundraising amount required. All donations and fundraising you can provide will be appreciated, and help researchers find a cure. The goal is to raise $100,000 in just one week, and even more until the walk! Empty out your piggy banks, get in shape, and walk for a cure for MS!
