This week’s campus celebs come in pairs, triplets actually! Her Campus is honoring the three national sororities at UIC- Delta Phi Epsilon, Phi Sigma Sigma, and Alpha Sigma Tau. The Collegiate Panhellenic Council is celebrating its annual Greek Week where the three organizations compete for the title of Greek Week champs!Â

DΦΕ- Delta Phi Epsilon was the first National Sorority to establish at UIC first establishing itself as a local sorority in 1967, and colonizing in 1992 as a National Sorority! Delta Phi Epsilon supports three international philanthropies, the National Association for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation! |

Phi Sigma Sigma is the largest national sorority on campus with 60 girls! Phi Sigma Sigma is also the only sorority to have a national sorority house at UIC. Phi Sigma Sigma supports the National Kidney Foundation by raising thousands of dollars and annually hosting events like Rock-A-Thon! |

AÎŁT-Â Alpha Sigma Tau began at UIC in 1995 after establishing their roots as a local sorority. Alpha Sigma Tau supports Habitat for Humanity and Pine Mountain Settlement School, and their motto is “to promote the ethical, cultural, and social development of its members!”
