A lot of us girls wanted to be singers when we grew up. The only problem is that having a heavenly voice isn’t always something you can “practice to make perfect.” So, what’s the next best thing? Why, going to a concert of course! And UIC’s got some talent!
Join the UIC Choirs’ Symphonic Choir as they team up with the Janus Ensemble to perform John Rutter’s Te Deum and Gloria, as well as Gabrielle Faurés Pavane, and Requiem. And as a special treat, Chicago’s premier choir Bella Voce will perform.
The event takes place at the St. Francis of Assisi Church on Roosevelt Road, on Thursday, April 28th. Head over at 7:00 pm with friends, family, and anybody else with a love for music, as tickets are sold at the door (Anywhere from $4 – $8)! Of course, UIC students with an ID receive free admission! The concert will begin at 7:30 pm.
Prep yourself for some uplifting instrumental music, dress for the occasion, and enjoy UIC’s Symphonic Choir in a truly inspirational night!
