Here’s a look into makeup products that I can’t live without when doing a full face! I hope you guys get inspired and find this article helpful, especially if you’re indecisive like me and want to buy EVERYTHING when it comes to makeup.
-
TOO FACED Hangover Replenishing Face Primer ($34.00)
Ah yes, step one is ALWAYS primer y’all. This primer is the best primer I have used. It is extremely lightweight which I love, and feels like you have nothing on, but definitely gets the job done. It also smells really good and in the past I have used thick, gel-like, and rubbery smelling primers, but this one stands out and is unlike any other! Highly recommend, and though the tube looks small, it lasts me a long time. It’s something I always walk past in the store and was too hesitant to try because of its price, but once I started using it, I haven’t changed primers since!
-
LANCȎME Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation ($47.00)
I always struggle to find my shade in foundations. Literally nothing ever matches right, not even FENTY unfortunately (I ended up buying a peachy toned version but I still love that foundation). But this foundation came through and it is life changing. My skin is pretty normal, but sometimes a little bit oily in the T-zone, so I always prefer a matte foundation. This foundation is matte but not drying which I love! I have used matte foundations where there is a lot of creasing and makes me look dry and cakey which is a big no-no, but this one is a winner! It is also buildable and looks great in pictures, making your skin look flawless and smooth with its super full-coverage!
-
TOO FACED Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer ($29.00)
This concealer is unlike any concealer I have stumbled upon. I love the big applicator, and the bottle lasts you forever! I highly recommend this concealer especially in this drying, wintery season because it is super hydrating. It is infused with coconut water, alpine rose, and hyaluronic acid, which our skin loves. I use it for a highlighting concealer.
-
ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Contour Cream Kit ($40.00)
This is so basic but so necessary. I am obsessed with sculpting my face to make it look slimmer and accentuate the hollowness in my cheeks, and trying to make my fat Pakistani nose smaller. This contour kit is a game changer and is a classic. I mainly use the brown shades to carve, but all shades in the palette are usable and work great! The shade I use is medium to tan and applies so smooth and creamy, I have to use it whenever I am doing a full face. If this ever begins to dry use argan oil, and place a few droplets in it, it is long lasting so don’t be discouraged or throw it away if it starts to dry a little!
-
LAURA MERCIER Translucent Loose Setting Powder ($38.00)
No matter if I’m doing a natural look or a dramatic full face, I always use this powder. It’s always on me, in my backpack, in my purse, always whenever I wear makeup. It is awesome and has absolutely zero flashback! It is very light weight and no matter how much I bake it on, I never feel like I have too much on, it never feels heavy. Love this product.
-
ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Dipbrow Pomade ($18.00)
Brows are everything and I don’t have any! This pomade saves me from looking like I’m missing something on my face. It is something I do when I’m baking my face, and I just go over the natural shape of my brow to make it bolder. This is a thick consistency and is very dramatic so it’s better for those who are comfortable for a bolder look rather than a natural one. Again, if this begins to dry out, I would use argan oil drops, a little goes a long way!
-
BENEFIT COSMETICS Gimme Brow Volumizing Eyebrow Gel ($24.00)
I’ve been using this for the longest time you guys. This is super glue to my eyebrows and the small, precise spoolie gets every hair to stick up and brush out. It is really nice, and highly recommend, even just to tint your natural brows! Benefit has many brow products and even have their own brow bars so check them out if you want to explore more things for brows! They know what’s up.
-
TOO FACED Better Than Sex Mascara ($24.00)
Oof this mascara is uhhhmazing! It gives you everything you want in a mascara: volume, drama, length, color, everything. It is the best mascara I have ever used and I swear by it. That’s all I have to say about it. Yup.
-
BENEFIT COSMETICS Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara ($25.00)
You guys are going to make fun of me but I am EXTRA and like using a different mascara for my lower lashes. I love this one because it gives me loads of length on my lower lashes and really exaggerates them, and I like the dollface lower lash look! The TOO FACED mascara is perfectly fine for lower lashes as well, this is just my preference!
-
MARC JACOBS BEAUTY Highliner Gel Eye Crayon ($25.00)
If you are South Asian or Middle Eastern, you know how important kajal liner is. That’s all you know growing up. Well, I love lining my waterline, as well as my lashline, and this makes you eyes pop! My struggle with liners on my waterline is that they end up smudging and make me look like I’ve been crying, not a good look. This liner stays put and gets the job done, it glides so easily and is actually fun to put on!
-
STILA Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner ($22.00)
LOVE this eyeliner! It stays on forever and does not move. I love the brush, it is a super fine, pointy felt tip and I can work with it anyway I want. It is very easy to use and totally worth the price. I love how black it is and is easy to go over eyelash glue mishaps and glittery eyeshadow!
-
MORPHE 35O Nature Glow Eyeshadow Palette ($24.00)
I am not very picky about my eyeshadows. As long as they are pigmented, I don’t really care. This palette has very natural, warm browns and I love using as a base of my dramatic looks and even my natural ones. It has colors suitable for all shades and I really admire how many different browns it has! Very buildable and an essential palette.
-
STILA Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow ($24.00)
If you’re lazy like me and don’t want to go through the messy and tedious process of applying glitter on your eyes for a eye-catching look, use this product! It’s a game changer in the makeup industry and I don’t know why more people don’t use it. I am obsessed with it and am obsessed with the pigmentation. It glides on easily and does not feel sticky, it makes you look like you put in a lot of work on your lids while putting no effort in at all.
-
TARTE Tartiest Pro Cruelty-Free Lashes Center of Attention ($12.00)
I am not very picky about my lashes, but these are my absolute favorites if I had to pick one! Thy are very wispy looking and enhances your every blink. I love the amount of volume and how thin the band is. It’s cruelty-free and they also have plenty of options if you have a specific look you are going for. What I like about these in particular is that the length gets longer from the inner corner, out. I love the way the lashes cross each other, making it look bold and fierce yet but not absurd and too much. I always put lashes on when doing a full face, I think they really tie the look together!
-
MILANI Baked Blush Luminoso ($7.99)
This brand is made for people with darker skin tones and so naturally this appealed to me. I found this brand when I was exploring blushes, and I have not preferred any other blush since. It is perfectly pigmented and you can build it on however you want. What makes this different than most blushes is that it also have a highlighting effect to it, but not making you look shimmery, instead just making putting some color into your cheeks.
-
TOO FACED Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer ($30.00)
I am new to bronzers but to soften the cream contour I love this bronzer! It smells so good, I honestly wish they had more face products that smelled like chocolate or peach. It is a very basic bronzer but has a very nice color to it and does not make you look streaky or muddy which is what I have encountered in the past. I love using this to hide my double chin!
-
ROSEBUD PERFUME CO. Rosebud Salve in a Tube ($7.00)
This is my holy grail product that I have multiple of. This lip salve is so hydrating and can act as a gloss! I always apply this while doing my makeup and before I put any lip color on because it makes my lips look smooth. I always go for a liquid lipstick and so putting this underneath keeps my lips from drying out. This is a must-have product, especially during this season!
-
BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter Mini ($19.00)
This highlighter may be small in size, but you only need a little bit to make yourself glow! This is one of the best highlighters I have used and is not shimmery or glittery but gives it that effect. I love this for my nose highlight and it is blinding. It makes my nose appear way smaller than it is and really makes the places where light hits my face, shine! This is my last step before applying setting spray.
-
URBAN DECAY All-Nighter Setting Spray ($32.00)
Okay so I’m not a huge setting spray person, and usually rely on setting powder, but once I started to use this spray I really noticed a difference in how long my makeup lasted. Keep in mind I have only ever used this and MAC, as setting spray after my makeup is done so I do not have much experience to compare this with. I do use this spray on all my makeup brushes and my Beauty Blender though, and I love it!
This long list contained everything I use when I am doing a full face of makeup! It may be pricey, but I do think all of these products are worth the price. If you have any other questions, DM me (my shade, dupes, first impressions etc.). I hope I have helped you to find the makeup suitable for you!
