Valentine’s Day Decor

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UK chapter.

This article is for everyone wanting to spruce up their place a bit in time for Valentine’s Day! There are plenty of inexpensive options to get that adorable-looking, mood-setting room for a date, a girl’s night or whatever else you have planned. Here are seven decorations I found at the Dollar Tree for one dollar each:

1. This heart-shaped hanging decoration with the word “love” on it is perfect to hang on any wall, door or use as a sit-around.

2. These mini balloons could be featured laying around on the floor or as a sit-around as well. They come in many different colors with different wording from “love” to “Happy Valentine’s Day!”

3. Three stem roses with a vase for a lovely centerpiece! This beats buying new roses every year, and this could be used year-round as well.

4. These roses come in a small bouquet with hearts covered in gems attached. If you want an option other than the typical red roses, this is for you!

5. You can not set the mood without some candles, and for only one dollar? What a deal!

6. Tablecloths are a must. From pink, to red to white, it is just another great touch to any room.

7. Need a little extra touch to go on top of your tablecloth? One-dollar doilies are the way to go! Dollar tree has white, red and pink.

This is how you accomplish a beautiful Valentine’s Day for your friends or significant other on a budget. Happy decorating!
