The School year will be coming to an end before we know it, and our favorite time and break, summer, will be waiting for us. Since summer break is about 3 months long, we should make the best of it, soak up some sun, and have some fun. Here are three places that you and your friends can go to make the best out of your summer vacay:
1. South Beach, Miami, Florida: South Beach is a great summer trip because of all the things they have to do – not to mention the beach is beautiful! While in Miami you can walk up and down the famous Ocean Drive and see all the hotels, fine restaurants, clubs, and storefronts. There are also many tours, including bus and helicopter tours, which give you a tour around the city, showcasing major attractions and landmarks. If you like to people watch or get your exercise on, Lummus Park is for you! It’s between Ocean Drive and the beach, so once you’re done walking around sightseeing you can relax in the park and then soak up some sun at the beach.
2. Los Angeles, California: If you want to have an action-packed vacation, LA is the place to go! Los Angeles has many things to do and places to see. While there you can visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame, see the Hollywood Sign, visit the wax museum, go to Disney Land, or go to Griffith Observatory and Griffith Park which gives you a view over the LA river basin, and so much more. Also, if you’re a huge Pretty Woman fan like me, and you love to window shop, Rodeo Drive is the place for you. Rodeo Drive is an upscale shopping street in Beverly Hills that has designer stores and small private boutiques. And if you love the beach, you have plenty of options to choose from: Venice beach, Zuma beach and Santa Monica Pier and beach are relatively close to Los Angeles and are all beautiful.
3. Las Vegas, Nevada: If you’re anything like me, you thought the only thing to do in Las Vegas was to gamble and go to Casinos, but this is not true. Las Vegas is home to many beautiful and fun themed hotels such as New York City, Paris, Hollywood, and the Venetian. You can also walk up and down the strip or take a double-decker bus to see all the attractions Vegas has to offer. If you’re a person who is more into nature and being outdoors, you can go to the Hoover Dam or the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. If you’re a person who is into fine entertainment, be sure to check out Cirque du Soleil. There are also plenty of amusement parks you can visit for a fun day out!
