Q: How’s the end of the semester treating you?

A: “It’s been challenging and I’m excited for the break, but I really enjoyed my classes this semester so I’m sad to see them coming to an end.”

Q: What made you pick your major/minors?

A: “I’m focused more on the Human Resources/Marketing aspect of business and communications.”

Q: What would you ultimately want to do, professionally, after graduation?

A: “Ideally when I graduate, I would love to have a job with the university as an admissions counselor. Ever since coming here to UNCG I’ve been very adamant about how coming to college was the best decision I could have made. I want to help other young people get to college so they too can experience all that UNCG has to offer.”

Q: I know you’re very excited about this upcoming summer.

A: “I’m going to Spain this summer as a part of the Summer Study Abroad Program. I’ll be taking my last two Spanish credits while I’m there. I’ll be staying in Madrid with some other UNCG students also taking part in the program. I’m really looking forward to it; it will be really nice to actually live there and experience the culture and language that we’ve learned about.”

Q: Is there anything you want to do or places you want to visit while you’re overseas?

A: “I’m just excited to explore Madrid and all the other cities in Spain. I hope to see Portugal while I’m there and I’d love visit France and Switzerland as well.”

Q: Can you explain what you do for the Bryan School of Business?

A: “I’m a PAL for a freshman business course. PAL stands for Peer Academic Leader. As a PAL, I aim to serve as a mentor and role model to the freshman students, I assist the students in improving their academics, as well as providing general resources and information about the opportunities available to them through the Bryan School of Business and UNCG as a whole.”

Q: What do you like about living in Greensboro during the semester?

A: “My favorite thing about living in Greensboro is all of the local and small businesses! I love going out on the weekends and exploring new restaurants, coffee shops, and stores with my friends.”

Q: What are some of your favorite things about UNCG?

A: “My favorite things about UNCG are the people and the opportunities. I have met so many amazing individuals here, including faculty members & professors, that have definitely changed my life for the better. I have experienced a lot of things while I’ve been here that I don’t think I would have been exposed to elsewhere. Service learning partnerships, club involvements, etc.”

Q: Any advice for your fellow Spartans?

A: “My advice for other students is just to enjoy the experience. Take advantage of all the opportunities that you are afforded here.”
