While you do need to catch up on much needed R&R this break, challenge yourself too. You now have all the time in the world to start working on that New Year’s Resolution, amiright? Why not come back to next semester already seeing some results? You might even sweat out some of that excess coffee still in your system.
In between the naps and Netflix, try a few of these workouts (no Kaplan Center needed!):
20 Minute Cardio – This workout combines burpees (insert *ugh*), mountain climbers, and a few other routines to get your heartrate up; it’s easier than running in the cold!
At-Home Abs – These are so quick! Eight minutes and BAM!
Legs – Legs. I know. But think of how great you’ll look in your favorite winter leggings!
Arms – Don’t forget about the arms! This eight-minute circuit is perfect for toning them up.
Those are the four main groups I would focus on while you’re enjoying your time at home; they’re quick and enough to get your heart rate up! When you get back, you’ll be ready to take on Kaplan and kick butt next semester, right?! Enjoy your breaks and keep killin’ it!
