There’s nothing quite like backpacking for a spring break packed full with adventure. Seahawk Adventures, part of UNCW’s campus recreation, took out nine students to the beautiful Cumberland Island, a nationally protected island off the southern coast of Georgia. Huge trees filled with Spanish moss were in abudance along with many armadillos, pesky racoons, and miles upon miles of uninhabited beach. If there’s one thing I’m certain of it’s that this island is nothing short of amazing!
