1. They’re 100% Cruelty-Free
Â
Nowadays it’s pretty weird when companies aren’t cruelty-free, but there are many big names that have yet to learn respect for our furry friends (looking at you). ColourPop prides itself on being cruelty-free, as it should!
Â
2. They Won’t Break the Bank
They’re a company of quality at excellent prices. No $50 palettes to be found, instead, the most expensive one currently on their website is the 30-pan palette “Bare Necessities” at $34.
Â
Â
That makes it roughly $1.13/shadowÂ
Their current cheapest palette is any one of their monochromatic palettes, all retailing for $12 each, but you can get a 6-palette bundle of them for $65
Â
3. Their Products are Amazing
Seeing that simple price tag might scare some people away, under the idea that quality comes at a cost (a “you get what you pay for,” kind of sense). ColourPop makes amazing products, from shadows to foundations, lips, and so much more. Their foundation was the first perfect fit I found after tossing my overly expensive former favorite. I use their eyeshadows on a daily basis.
Â
Â
4. They are Constantly Releasing New Products
If you don’t see something you like on their website right now, just wait. It seems like every month they’re dropping something new and beautiful. The most recent product drop is a Soft Glam collection featuring two 9-pan palettes that are gorgeous.
They also have some really incredible collaborations. Their Disney Collection is probably the most notable. They have launched four separate sections to this collaboration: Disney Princess Premiere, Disney Villains, Disney Midnight Masquerade, and Disney Frozen 2.
Â
Â
5. They Offer a Student Discount!
If the rest of my raving wasn’t enough, this has to be. On their website at the very bottom there is a linked “student discount” which takes you over to the info regarding this 10% discount, verified by UniDays. (Also, if you have the Honey browser extension, that works too!).
