If you’re like me then you absolutely have to keep everything organized. Otherwise, you start to feel like you are losing your mind. I have listed below some of the tactics I use in order to keep my life in order and to make sure I am on top of things!

1. Buy an agenda

Okay…first things first, you HAVE to buy an agenda. I genuinely don’t know how I would be able to keep up with my busy life without one, in fact even thinking about living a planner-less life is starting to give me anxiety.

2. Write it down

Now that you have purchased your agenda, start looking at your class syllabuses and write down important dates such as exams, project due dates, and presentation dates. While writing down upcoming due dates is important, make sure to write down events as they come up. Therefore, any homework that is given on a daily basis or club meetings that are randomly assigned to even workout classes you might want to attend… WRITE IT DOWN!

3. Color code EVERYTHING

And I mean EVERYTHING! Color coding subjects and activities is the greatest idea anyone has ever come up with. This will keep your agenda extra organized so you can tell what class has what work due and when. This also helps show you how much you have to do and can allow you to plan for the time it will take you to complete each task!

4. Clean living environment

I don’t know if it is just me but I can’t get anything done when my room or kitchen is a mess. Having a clean room keeps me sane and makes me feel productive, too. If you keep a routine of cleaning your room then that will help keep you even more organized.

Hope these tips help declutter your busy college life!
