You may have seen this handsome ‘fella around campus a few times giving tours to prospective Seahawks, but pretty soon you can see him walking around campus donning a suit. Why you ask? Well, he’s a part of the Communication Studies Society’s 13th annual Dress for Success Fashion Show, for the third time! Watch out ladies, cause’ ain’t nothing better than a sharp dressed man!

HC: What would you describe as your perfect date?

A box of pizza, football on the tv, sitting on the couch in sweatpants and luckily my girlfriend loves doing this as well.

HC: What are three things you can never leave home without?

Chapstick, pencil/pen, a smile.

HC: We all have them, what’s your most embarrassing moment?

I don’t get embarrassed easily, but once when I was little I ran into a church service that I thought was over to get one of my friends; however, the church service was still going on so everyone turned and looked at me.

HC: What are you involved with on campus?

I am a member of the UNCW Student Ambassadors and Overflow Campus Organization.  I also work at the UNCW Information Center and am an assistant in the UNCW Athletic Communications Office.

HC: We heard you are modeling for the third time in the Communication Studies 13th annual Dress for Success Fashion Show. Why do you enjoy participating?

I love dressing up in the suits and getting to be in the show with great friends.

HC: What can students expect to learn for this years’ show?

The theme of this year’s fashion show is “Suit up and Swim With the Sharks,” based on the hit television show on ABC. Students will learn how to properly dress for an interview, interview do’s and don’ts, and, similar to the show, how to sell their experiences so that they can succeed in acquiring that internship or job. Students are also entered in a raffle, last year there were gift cards to Islands, Freakers, and other awesome prizes, so I am sure there is going to be some great things.

HC: What has been your favorite moment or memory from modeling in the event?

Last year I got to finish the show as the last model in the show so for our encore I came out clapping to the beat of the music. I had the whole room standing up and clapping with me.

HC: If this sounds like something our readers would be interested in, where can they go to find more information on the show?

The show is going to be held in the Warwick Center Ballroom on Friday, March 27 at 12:15 PM, if your lovely readers want to check it out they can go to www.uncw.edu/ComStudiesDay for more information!
