HC:Relationship status?

I’m in a committed relationship with Ben&Jerry’s

HC:Describe yourself in four words.

Bold, European, sarcastic, independent.

HC: What qualities do you look for in a guy?

I guess I would look for someone that is smart, can take a joke, drives a truck (just kidding), knows sarcasm, has the skills to build a fort, can handle my family and loves Star wars.

HC: Describe your ideal date.

My ideal date would be laser-tag or a Lord of the Rings marathon.

HC:What kind of advice would you give to a guy?

The way to a girl’s heart is a Pumpkin Spice Latte.

HC:Who is your celebrity crush?

Josh Duhamel

HC:What is your most embarrassing moment?

I had just moved to the United States and was somewhat fluent in English. I had a boyfriend at the time that was really sick with something but no one knew what it was. During lunch I was telling someone that they still hadn’t figured out what was wrong with him. My friend told me that it could be “cooties,” I got very concerned and asked if I could get infected and kept asking questions about it. After a good 15 minutes of my friends playing along and not telling me what it really was, they started cracking up. Someone finally told me that it was a made up “disease” that children use. I almost died of embarrassment.

HC:What is your favorite thing about UNCW?

I love UNCW. Everybody is super friendly and it’s a loving environment. I also like that the school is very small and everything is easy to find.

HC:When you graduate from UNCW, what will you miss the most?

I will miss my friends and the community the most. My church down here and Overflow will be greatly missed as well.

HC:What is your favorite quote?

Rejoice with your family in the beautiful land of life!- Albert Einstein

HC:What is your dream job?

My dream job would have something to do with fashion and lots and lots of traveling. I want to see the world–and someone paying for it would be pretty sweet.

HC:If you were stranded on an island and could only take three things, what would they be?

Josh Duhamel, Bible, gummy bears

HC: Describe your most awkward date with someone.

I think my most awkward date was when a guy tried to teach me how to drive a stick shift. The minute we drove out of the parking lot, I stalled and rolled into the car behind us. The guy I rolled into was furious and called the police. The officer was really nice about it and laughed. No one got a ticket and both cars were fine. However, most awkward date ever. Today, I have been driving a stick for two years and no accident yet.

I am a junior at UNCW with a major in communications and a minor in journalism. I have always been interested in writing and I am very excited that I have this opportunity to write for Her Campus. I know it sounds geeky but I love school and to hang out with friends and go fishing and to the beach.
