Truman, center, with his adorable family. Truman is an RA in Innovation House. In his free time, Truman is a superhero, but better. What’s better than a superhero, you ask? A superhero who appears at children’s parties as a “special guest.” Omg. 

HC: What’s the number one item on Truman Spittel’s bucket list?

TS: The first thing on my bucket list is to graduate college, but the most important is that I want to be a dad later in life. 

HC: If you were a box of cereal, what kind would you be, and why?

TS: If I were a box of cereal, I’d be a box of Honey Nut Cheerios…because I am good for the heart and parents approve of me for their children. 

HC: Favorite song from the 90’s? 

TS: “I Want It That Way” by The Backstreet Boys. 

HC: The question most-plaguing humankind: Cats or dogs? 

TS: Cats. 

HC: This isn’t a question. Tell me a joke instead. 

TS: “Why did the mushroom go to the party?”…”Because he was a fun-guy!” (But who tells a joke that isn’t in the format of a comedic story, anymore?)

HC: In a movie about your life, who would you want cast to play you? 

TS: In a movie about me, I think Jim Carrey should play me.
