Gena Kalampalikis
Hometown: Bow, NH
Major: Communications Sciences and Disorders
School/Year: CHHS/Senior
Meet this week’s Campus Celebrity, Gena Kalampalikis! In her four years as a Wildcat, Gena has been involved in many different organizations on campus. She is the Vice President of Membership on the Panhellenic Council, a founding member of Greek Connect, she serves on the Alternative Break Challenge executive board, is an active member of the NSSLHA, she was an Orientation Leader last year, and volunteers for Seacoast Reads. On top of all that, she is currently the sole Greek Life intern in the MUB. She works directly under the Greek Life Coordinator Erin Courville to plan events for the Greek community like Grand Chapter, Vitae, and Panhellenic and Fraternity recruitment. She handles it all with gallons of coffee and an infectious smile.
Gena seems to know everyone on the UNH campus on a personal level. It is impossible to go anywhere with her without running into at least fifteen of her closest friends. She is the craziest, sweetest, and funniest person I have ever had the pleasure of being friends with. A short conversation with Gena can turn your day upside down. We are fortunate to have such a passionate and genuine student at UNH.
If you could pick next week’s Campus Celeb, who would it be and why?
I would pick Niki Willard; on top of being really awesome and beautiful she is an amazing dancer and fitness instructor!
