Recently I’ve taken the time to make sure I do something that makes my friends smile at least once a day. Not because I want them to do something nice back, but because I like seeing my friends happy, especially if they are having a bad day. It not only makes their day a little better, but it also makes me smile. It takes very little to be a kind person. It could be as little as asking someone to eat with you in the dining hall or as thoughtful as going to Rite Aid just to get your friend candy because she’s having a bad day.
