The nominations for the 67th Annual Grammy Awards were recently released, and here are a few of my predictions for this year’s winners.

Record of the Year

Record of the Year has so many good nominees such as “360” by Charlie XCX, “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar, “Fortnight” by Taylor Swift, and “Good Luck Babe” by Chappell Roan. I think Charlie XCX will win this year as “360” is a great pop/dance song and was one of the most talked about and streamed records this summer.

Album of the Year

My top three contenders for this award are Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department, Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet, and Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft. While I think Billie Eilish’s album is the most deserving of this award and will probably win, Swift has also taken home Album of the Year many times in the past and could do so again this year.

Song of the Year

Out of all of the nominees, I think “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish is the best candidate for this award, but I could also see Sabrina Carpenter taking the win with “Please Please Please”.

Best New Artist

This award should undoubtedly go to Chappell Roan as she’s had a breakthrough year for her career. Sabrina Carpenter is also nominated, but she’s been in the music scene for many years, so she shouldn’t get this award. She deserves so much recognition for her music and is finally getting it with multiple nominations, but she just shouldn’t be the Best New Artist for 2025.

Best Pop Duo/Group Performance

While I think “Us” by Gracie Abrams and Taylor Swift should take home this award, I predict “Die With a Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars will beat them because of prior Grammy’s love for those artists.

Best Pop Vocal Album

I’m predicting that Sabrina Carpenter will win Best Pop Vocal Album with Short n’ Sweet. All of the nominees produced really great pop albums this year, but I think Carpenter’s chart-topping album will take the cake.

Best Rap Album

For Best Rap Album, I think Metroboomin and Future will win with their collaborative album We Don’t Trust You. One of the most talked about rap albums of the year and featuring multiple collabs with other artists, I think this album deserves the award.

Best Rap Song

I think Kendrick Lamar will take home another Grammy with his hit “Not Like Us.” His dis-track to Drake went viral this summer and deserves recognition for Best Rap Song this year.

Thank you for reading my prediction and don’t miss the 2025 Grammy Awards on February 2nd!
