At this time of the year, we all know nobody wants to go to the dining hall. As a senior, I have tried a bunch of places on campus and I have some suggestions on where you should go next!

  1. The Juicery: The juicery is a smoothie, smoothie bowl, and juice place that is located on Main Street. This is a great breakfast place or a great place to get a healthy snack after a workout at Hamel Rec. My favorite order is the Tropical Smoothie Bowl, but you can customize any bowl and put exactly what you want on it!
  2. JPā€™s Grill: This is a wrap, salad, sandwich, and fried food place located on Main Street. I really love going here when I want a quick place to eat, but it has more of a restaurant vibe as well. I go there a lot with my friends and my boyfriend. I love getting their Greek chicken wrap and their chicken caesar wrap, but they have so many other good options as well!
  3. Wildcatessen (Wildkitty): This is a fried food, sandwich, and wrap place located in Stillings near Stoke Hall. This is a great place to get a quick dinner if you are studying or if you need a good place late at night, especially on the weekends. I love their grilled chicken caesar wrap and waffle fries, but there are so many other options as well!
  4. Union Court: This place has a variety of food and is located inside the MUB. This is a great place for breakfast and lunch (they are not open for dinner). They have a burrito bowl bar, sandwich bar, wrap/salad bar, fresh sushi/poke bowls, and more. This is a great place to go between classes or when you need to eat and get some work done! My favorite orders here are the BBQ chicken salad and the turkey avocado melt!
  5. Clarkā€™s Bistro: This is a restaurant located on Main Street that has a variety of American cuisine. I really love going here because it is a sit-down type of restaurant and is one of the few places on campus with that type of vibe. This is a great place to go when family comes to visit or even if you just feel like eating out! My favorite thing to get here is a chicken caesar wrap and fries. Their fries are so good and I actually think about them all the time. You definitely have to try them!

Thank you so much for reading my suggestions! I hope the end of the semester is going well and you can try some new places in Durham before we go back home for break! Hang in there, we are almost done! Love, Britaney
