Listen up ladies! Restaurant week in Portsmouth is one of the best times to get off campus and treat yourself to a delicious three course meal in a reasonable price range for us college students. Around 50 restaurants in the neighboring areas are all chopping their prices for locals and travelers to come in to enjoy their unique and mouth-watering culinary creations. Participating restaurants are offering special three course menus at two unbelievable prices:Â $16.95 for lunch or $29.95 for dinner*Â
Portsmouth Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to grab some friends and head to a restaurant you haven’t been too and enjoy the food, drinks and atmosphere. After your meal, complete a survey to tell us how you heard about Restaurant Week Portsmouth & the Seacoast and be entered into a drawing for a prize package that includes a $100.00 Gift Certificate to Surf Restaurant and 2 tickets to a show at the Seacoast Repertory Theater both located on Bow St Portsmouth, NH!

Agave – $29.95 Dinner
           Agave is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants around because of the friendly environment mixed with delicious guacamole and variety of flavored margaritas!
The Boat House – $29.95 Dinner
           Although I have personally never been to The Boat House, I’ve heard nothing but good things about this family owned restaurant. The menu listed includes a nice glass of wine, with an option to enjoy a cup of New England clam chowdah and fresh lobster roll! Yummy Yummy!
The Green Monkey – $29.95 Dinner
           The Green Monkey is the place to go to for unique specially made martini’s, specialty beers and wines from all over the world. The atmosphere is young and hip with an added bonus of great food! Start with a soup or salad and indulge in the pasta primavera option and top it off with their crème brulee for a sweet treat!
The Portsmouth Brewery – $16.95 Lunch served all day
           The classic Portsmouth American grill that one of my personal favorite places to go in town. The Brewery is a great young environment with amazing lunch to choose from all day long this week! The malted sourdough flatbread is to die for and as an added bonus; they are including a three-beer sample for all to try!
Surf – $29.95 Dinner
           Surf is THE place to go to get the best seafood and sushi in town. Surf has built a reputation for truly imaginative cooking using only the very freshest fish and shellfish. They are offering a three course meal which includes salt cod cakes and shrimp sriracha which is marinated grilled jumbo shrimp on smoked bacon-sweet potato hash with a Thai peanut sauce. Sounds delicious!
