Leaving The Lights On
Â
Not everyone goes to bed at the same time which leads to the ultimate problem; your roomie leaving her lights on while she lays in bed and watches Netlflix. Or the opposite problem, when you need the lights on to finish the homework you procrastinated and your roomie is trying to catch some z’s.Â
Snoozing Their Alarm
Â
Don’t you hate when you purposely didn’t pick 8 ams so you don’t have to wake up but you end up being awake that early anyways because your roomie snoozes their alarm about 10 times? Can’t really blame them though.Â
Talking On The Phone
It’s always whenever you’re trying to sleep or when you’re trying to read the 100 pages due tomorrow for english and your roomie gets a phone call that lasts forever, and no matter what she always has to answer.Â
Bringing People Over
Don’t you love when you’re in the middle of changing for a shower and your roommate’s whole #squad rolls up? Give me a warning next time, girl.Â
Playing Music Out Loud
It’s always a constant battle between you and your roomie about who gets to play the music. And it sucks when it’s playing at the worst possible times.Â
Not Agreeing On The Room Temperature
Some people like sleeping in the cold, some like it warmer, so its always a race to see who can get to the thermostat first and hoping that they don’t notice you turned off the heat.Â
Not Cleaning Up
Â
Is it just me or does it feel like you’re constantly playing a game with your roomie to see how long the trash can stay in the corner of the room before one of you takes it out? You know you took it out last time and she should probably take it out this week but nobody wants to seem psycho and bring it up.Â
Always Hanging Out In The Room
Everybody needs alone time, so we all cherish the moments that our roomie is in class so that we can do whatever we want. Except when you walk in the room, ready to catch up on your fav TV shows and they’re already in there because their class unexpectedly got cancelled.Â
Sleeping Rituals
Â
Â
We all have certain things we need to do in order to fall asleep at night. For some people it’s turning the TV on or listening to the sound of the fan, which can be the ultimate struggle if you’re the type of person who likes to fall asleep to a silent room.Â
