Being in college can be a stressful time, but you want to make sure to maintain your grades and keep studying. This article will share my top five study tips.

  1. Create a schedule

I like to plan my schedule out every Sunday. This helps me allocate time for homework/studying, going to the gym and making time to see friends. For me, consistency is key.

2. Active learning techniques

In order to fully understand what I am reading and learning about, I liked to highlight words/phrases and take notes on the side. This helps me to comprehend and retain the information better.

3. Stay organized

During a busy week, it’s easy to get your room and desk messy. I have found it very important to keep my space as clean as possible. Try setting a 10-minute timer every day and just clean. This helps me focus on my work with fewer distractions around.

4. Take breaks

By taking a five-minute break every 20-25 minutes you are able to enhance your productivity.

5. Take advantage of your resources

From textbooks to the library, be sure to take advantage of all the materials available to you. By diversifying your study materials, you can gain a deeper understanding.

Try to incorporate these tips into your study routine to set yourself up for success!
