This past year has been tough on everyone and full of surprises. A lot has happened during 2020, however I still find that there is so much to be grateful for. I understand that this holiday season may be different for most people, but we are going to get through this. Throughout all the chaos I have still managed to focus on the positive parts of my life and things I am thankful for.Â
Attending School In Person
I am beyond thankful that during this pandemic I have been given the opportunity to attend school in person. When the pandemic first started and we had to do remote classes, the experience wasn’t the same. Although some of my classes are still remote, I am happy that we were able to come back to school this fall semester. I am thankful for all my professors and the university for making the safety of its students a top priority.Â
Front Line Workers
I am very grateful that there are so many people each day working on the front lines to help with the pandemic. I am thankful for the doctors and scientists trying to create a vaccine and helping those who have caught the virus. I can’t imagine it’s an easy job, so I appreciate all the work that they do. I am grateful for all the precautions that we are instructed to follow so we can all try and stay safe and healthy.
My Family and Friends
Finally, I am extremely thankful to have such an amazing family and caring friends. My family is my biggest support system and they have helped me through all the ups and downs in my life. They never fail to make me smile and always have my back. I am also so thankful for all the fun memories I have with my family and friends, as well as their endless love.Â
I hope everyone has a great holiday season and stays healthy during these tough times!Â
